Solar Business Developer

Solar Business Developer Netherlands Negotiable dependant on experience Permanent

We are currently working alongside an established global energy company that are actively looking for a Business Developer to join their solar development team in the Netherlands. This individual must have experience working in the Dutch solar PV industry and must be a fluent/native Dutch speaker.

The company are one of the largest energy companies in the world and are currently expanding their presence in the solar PV market globally, with ambitious targets in regards to the Benelux region.

This position is a great step forward in career for anyone with a few years of project/business development experience in the Netherlands that is looking to add to their expertise through working for a major player in the global energy industry. The role comes with a great benefits package and brilliant future progression potential.

The Role:

  • Identification of prospective industrial and commercial clients/projects as well as growing and developing existing clients.
  • Negotiation of solar lease proposals and agreements.
  • Coordination of the project development process.
  • Mapping of stakeholders of potential suitable locations.
  • Relationship management of relevant clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiation of high-value agreements and contracts.
  • Prepare investment proposals.

Profile:

  • Experience in renewable energy business development in Belgium.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and legislation.
  • Experience in modelling offers.
  • Knowledge of the Belgian solar energy market.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time.
  • Fluent in both Dutch/Flemish, French, and English.
